Grüns markets itself on a big number — “60+ ingredients” — and a gummy format that people actually finish. Neither tells you what a pack delivers. The Supplement Facts panels on gruns.co do, and we copied them line by line on 4 September 2026 for the adult Low Sugar, adult Sugar-Free and Kids products. Below is what each section means, where the sugar comes from, what the “Core Nutrients Blend” is and is not, and how the label compares with a plain multivitamin.

✓ As a multivitamin, the label is complete: 100% Daily Value of 13 vitamins (A, C, D3, E, K2, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin, folate) in forms like methylcobalamin and methylfolate, plus roughly 25% of iron, zinc, selenium, iodine, copper, manganese, chromium and molybdenum.
✓ Choose Sugar-Free if you eat the pack daily. Low Sugar carries 8 g of added sugar per pack — 16% of a day’s limit — for 50 kcal; Sugar-Free is under 0.5 g and 20 kcal, sweetened with allulose, for $6.67 more a month.
✗ Do not read “greens” as a salad. The Core Nutrients Blend is 8.7 g total, of which the first two ingredients are tapioca fibre and inulin. The 30-odd fruit, vegetable and mushroom powders share what is left, unquantified.

Calories, carbs and sugar per pack
| Per pack | Adults Low Sugar (20 g, 8 gummies) | Adults Sugar-Free (20 g) | Kids Low Sugar (15 g) | Kids Sugar-Free (15 g) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Calories | 50 | 20 | 40 | 15 |
| Total carbohydrate | 15 g | 15 g | 12 g | 12 g |
| Dietary fibre | 6 g (21% DV) | 6 g | 4 g | 4 g |
| Total sugars | 8 g | < 0.5 g | 7 g | < 0.5 g |
| Added sugars | 8 g (16% DV) | 0 g | 7 g (28% DV for children 4+) | 0 g |
| Net carbs (brand) | 9 g | 1 g | — | — |
Eight grams of added sugar is about two teaspoons — comparable to a fun-size chocolate bar, and more than most gummy vitamins, because a Grüns pack is eight gummies rather than two. The 6 g of fibre partly comes from the pectin base (a fruit fibre) and partly from the tapioca fibre and inulin at the top of the blend. The Sugar-Free version keeps the same 15 g of carbohydrate but replaces the sugar with allulose (the label references 6 g), a rare sugar the body does not metabolise for energy — hence 20 calories. It costs $73.32 versus $66.65 for 28 packs one-time.
For children the sugar line matters more: 7 g of added sugar is 28% of the Daily Value the label prints for ages four and up, from a product taken every day. The Kids Sugar-Free variant exists at the same $53.32 price, which makes it the obvious pick.

Vitamins and minerals: what you get
| Nutrient (form on label) | Adults, per pack | % DV | Kids, per pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) | 900 mcg RAE | 100% | 445 mcg |
| Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) | 93 mg | 103% | 46 mg |
| Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) | 20 mcg (800 IU) | 100% | 9.9 mcg |
| Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) | 15 mg | 100% | — |
| Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) | 120 mcg | no DV | — |
| B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin, folate | 1.2 mg, 1.3 mg, 16 mg, 5 mg, 1.7 mg, 2.4 mcg, 30 mcg, 400 mcg DFE | 100% each | — |
| Iron (ferrous fumarate) | 4.5 mg | 25% | 2.23 mg |
| Zinc (zinc citrate) | 2.75 mg | 25% | 1.36 mg |
| Selenium / iodine / copper / manganese / chromium / molybdenum | 14 mcg / 38 mcg / 0.22 mg / 0.57 mg / 9 mcg / 11 mcg | ~25% each | — |
Three things are notable. The B-vitamins use the active forms — pyridoxal-5-phosphate for B6, L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate for folate, methylcobalamin for B12 — which premium multivitamins charge for. Minerals are deliberately dosed at a quarter of the Daily Value, and calcium and magnesium are absent, so Grüns does not replace a mineral supplement if you need one. And the kids’ panel lists only the five nutrients we could read in table form (A, C, D3, iron, zinc); the brand says the full label is on the pouch.
The “Core Nutrients Blend”, honestly
The 8.7 g blend (6.3 g for kids) is where the “60+ ingredients” live. In label order it starts with tapioca fibre (FiberSMART) and organic inulin root powder, then organic shiitake mushroom extract, and then a long run of organic powders: kale, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, açaí, acerola, amla, cranberry, goji, maqui, alfalfa, parsley, spinach, broccoli, green cabbage, tomato, spirulina, astragalus, wheatgrass, chlorella, carrot, oat grass, barley grass and more. Because it is a proprietary blend, individual amounts are not disclosed; because ingredients are listed by weight, the fibres come first and the vegetables are small fractions of a gram each. That is normal for the category and not a criticism of Grüns specifically — it is why we describe it as a multivitamin with a greens garnish rather than a greens powder in gummy form.
Allergens, testing and certifications (brand statements)
The product page states Grüns is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free, with no synthetic sweeteners or dyes, and made in NSF- and GMP-registered, FDA-registered facilities in the US and Canada. It cites a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study run in 2025, lot-by-lot third-party testing for heavy metals and microbes, and an independent Light Labs screen of 35 substances. It also notes HSA/FSA eligibility through Truemed. We have not seen the study or the lab reports and report these as claims. Suggested use is no more than one pack per day.
What this means for value
Per pack at the one-time price, Low Sugar costs $2.38 and delivers a full multivitamin plus 6 g of fibre plus a small serving of plant powders and 8 g of sugar. A pharmacy multivitamin at $0.10–0.40 a day covers the vitamin column alone. Whether the extra $2 buys anything you need depends on whether the gummy is what gets you to take it every day — the argument our review makes in Grüns vs the alternatives.
