DYLN 25 oz vs 32 oz vs 40 oz vs H2Bubblr: Which to Buy, and What It Costs Over Three Years

DYLN sells three sizes of the same bottle and one product that is not a bottle at all. The bottle prices are close — $49.99, $54.99 and $59.99 — which makes the choice look trivial. It is not, because the part that does the work, the VitaBead diffuser, is a consumable the brand says you replace about every three months, and its cost is the same whichever size you buy. This guide puts the real numbers on the table using the dyln.co store data from 4 September 2026.

✓ Buy the 32 oz if you are getting a DYLN bottle at all. For $5 more than the 25 oz you get 28% more water per fill, it still uses the same caps, guards and diffuser, and it is less of a brick in a bag than the 40 oz.
✓ Buy the H2Bubblr instead if you already own an insulated bottle you like. At $24.99 (or $15 each in the 6-pack) it drops into any container and has no proprietary bottle to commit to.
✗ Budget for the diffusers before you buy any size. At the brand’s stated three-month life, single-pack diffusers add $100 a year; the 8-pack cuts that to $50 but means paying $99.99 up front for two years of parts.

Colours are the same across bottle sizes (Black, Pearl, Galaxy Blue, Crimson Red, Mint), with Lavender on the 32 and 40 oz only. Every bottle accepts the same $15.99 Straw Sports Cap and $12.99 Handle Cap, and the $4.99 replacement gasket fits all sizes. The silicone bottom guard is size-specific: $9.99 for the 25 oz, $10.99 for the 32 and 40 oz.
One-year and three-year cost, size by size
The diffuser is where the money goes. DYLN sells replacements at $24.99 for one, $39.99 for two ($20 each), $59.99 for four ($15 each) and $99.99 for eight ($12.50 each). At four diffusers a year (the brand’s three-month figure), here is what ownership looks like if you buy the diffusers in the cheapest sensible pack for the period:

Three conclusions fall out. First, the difference between bottle sizes is $10 over three years — irrelevant next to the diffuser line. Second, buying diffusers one at a time is the expensive mistake; the 4-pack saves about $120 over three years. Third, the H2Bubblr is only cheaper than a DYLN bottle if you buy it in the 6-pack and you already own a bottle; at single-unit prices it is the most expensive route on the table because of its shorter two-month life.
Which size fits which day
25 oz (740 ml) fits a car cup holder and most bag side pockets. It is the right size if you refill at a desk anyway. Its drawback is that the diffuser occupies the base, so usable volume is a little under the label figure — the same is true of every size, but it is most noticeable here.
32 oz (950 ml) is the practical middle: roughly a litre per fill, still carries reasonably, and shares every accessory with the other sizes. This is the one we would order.
40 oz (1.2 l) is for gym bags and long days away from a tap. It is heavy when full and does not fit cup holders. Buy it only if you know you will not refill.
H2Bubblr is a different product. It does not alkalise water — DYLN pitches it as a hydrogen generator — and it has no insulation because it borrows your bottle. If your goal is specifically the “pH 9+” alkaline claim, it does not deliver that; if your goal is to try hydrogen water for $25 without buying new kit, it is the obvious starting point.
Before you order: the returns rule
DYLN accepts returns only on unused products within 30 days of shipping. Once a diffuser has been wet, the bottle is not returnable, so you cannot try a size and swap it.
