Every Doich Snacking Dough Flavour Compared: Nutrition, Ingredients and Where to Start

Doich Foods Chocolate Chip Snacking Dough, 6 oz jar — $7.99 on doichfoods.com (3 Sep 2026)

Disclosure: Hnlsharing is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change our verdicts.

Doich sells exactly one product — a 6 oz jar of gluten-free, dairy-free “snacking dough” you eat raw or bake — in five flavours at identical prices. Because the store refunds nothing on food you dislike, the flavour decision is the only one that carries risk. We pulled the nutrition panels, the ingredient list and the pack pricing from doichfoods.com on 4 September 2026 so you can choose on facts rather than the jar copy.

Quick verdict

First jar: Chocolate Chip. It is the lowest in calories and sodium of the five (80 kcal, 110 mg per serving), the flavour the brand leads with, and the only one whose full ingredient list we could read.

Can’t decide: Variety 5-pack, $31.99. One jar of each flavour at $6.40 a jar — cheaper than singles, and it settles the question before you commit to an 8-pack.

Do not expect a protein bar. Every flavour delivers 3 g protein per 21 g serving. The “3× the protein” claim is relative to regular cookie dough, not to a protein snack.

Nutrition per 21 g serving, all five flavours

Each jar is 6 oz and the label defines eight servings of 21 g (about a heaped tablespoon, or one baked cookie). The differences are small but real:

Flavour Calories Fat / sat fat Sodium Carbs / fibre Sugars (added) Protein
Chocolate Chip 80 4 g / 2.5 g 110 mg 9 g / 1 g 4 g (4 g) 3 g
WTFudge Brownie (“What The Fudge”) 90 4 g / 2.5 g 110 mg 10 g / 1 g 4 g (4 g) 3 g
Basic B#tch (sugar cookie) 90 4 g / 3 g 120 mg 9 g / 1 g 4 g (4 g) 3 g
Birthday Cake 80 4 g / 3 g 120 mg 10 g / 1 g 5 g (4 g) 3 g
Cinnamon Brunch Crunch 80 4 g / 3 g 120 mg 9 g / 1 g 4 g (3 g) 3 g

Read across a whole jar and the picture is consistent: roughly 640–720 kcal, 24 g protein and 32–40 g sugar per 6 oz. That makes a jar a dessert with a modest protein bump, not a meal replacement. Cinnamon Brunch Crunch has the least added sugar (3 g); Birthday Cake the most total sugar (5 g). Chocolate Chip and WTFudge are the only two with 2.5 g rather than 3 g saturated fat.

What is actually in it

The store publishes the Chocolate Chip ingredient list in full: gluten-free quick oats; a proprietary gluten-free flour blend (long-grain rice flour, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, corn starch, xanthan gum); coconut oil; pea protein; organic cane sugar; organic agave syrup; water; organic dairy-free chocolate chips (cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, vanilla powder); vegan toffee bits (coconut extract, brown sugar, tapioca syrup, vanilla extract); flaxseed meal; chia seeds; organic vanilla flavour; monk fruit extract; sunflower lecithin; sea salt; baking soda; baking powder. Allergen statement: contains coconut.

Three things stand out. The protein comes from pea protein, oats and seeds — there is no whey or egg, which is how the brand keeps it dairy-free and safe to eat raw. Sweetness is a blend of cane sugar and agave with monk fruit on top, which explains why the sugar number is low for how sweet it tastes. And the flour blend is rice-and-starch based, so the texture when baked is closer to a soft oat cookie than a chewy wheat one. The other four flavours share the oat-flour-coconut-oil-pea-protein base; the brand’s FAQ confirms all five are gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free.

Flavour notes, from the brand’s own descriptions

  • Chocolate Chip — “classic, nostalgic”; dairy-free chips plus toffee bits. The safe default.
  • WTFudge Brownie — “rich, dark”, brownie-batter style; the highest calorie count at 90 kcal.
  • Basic B#tch — plain sugar-cookie dough, the one to bake if you want to add your own mix-ins.
  • Birthday Cake — a collaboration with chef Joe Sasto; sprinkles and toffee, the sweetest on the label.
  • Cinnamon Brunch Crunch — cinnamon swirl, oats and “real maple drizzle”; positioned as a breakfast cookie and the lowest in added sugar.

Price per jar, and the pack to buy

Pack Price (list) Per jar Per 21 g serving
Single jar (any flavour) $7.99 $7.99 $1.00
4-pack, one flavour $23.99 ($31.99) $6.00 $0.75
Variety 5-pack, one of each $31.99 $6.40 $0.80
6-pack, one flavour $33.99 ($47.99) $5.67 $0.71
8-pack, one flavour $44.99 ($63.99) $5.62 $0.70

The 8-pack is the cheapest per jar but locks you into one flavour for 64 servings. The order we would place first is the Variety 5-pack; the second order, once you know your flavour, is the 8-pack. Remember the jars need refrigerating, so an 8-pack means fridge space. Shipping costs and the no-refund terms are in our Doich review.

How we checked

Nutrition panels for all five flavours, the Chocolate Chip ingredient list, the FAQ and pack prices were read from the doichfoods.com product page on 4 September 2026, in US dollars. Ingredient lists for the other four flavours were not published as text on the page we read, so we have described them only as far as the brand’s stated claims allow.
